What an insane ride! About as real as it gets to what you see on TV. This is a retired #12 Ryan Newman Mobile 1 NASCAR. Penske Racing chassis. Dodge Charger body. The original big horsepower motor has been pulled and replaced with a GM 400hp small block racing motor but most all of the car is still original. The original 4spd transmission, suspension, fuel system, rear end, comms, it's all still there and functional! She is sitting on Hendrick Racing wheels with new Goodyear tires. The car is still setup for circle track racing but could ultimately be adjusted and you can still hop right in and take her for a drive as it sits. She runs out great with no issues, clutch and trans are solid. No weird over heating issues or any other concerns. All dash gauges and switches function correctly.
The body is in good condition, no signs of prior damage or replacement panels. When we received the car, all of the sponsors had been removed and was a blank canvas for us to work with. So we had our friends at Just Wrap It in Joplin add the Days of Thunder Mello Yello livery to really make her stand out. She looks just like it did in the movies, such a fun car to see in person! The racing seat is snug and really holds you in place, removable steering wheel functions as it should. Such a fun ride to be around!
